The book selects comprehensive Chinese issues raised by overseas Chinese scholars over the past one or two hundred years, including the issue of China's discursive power, the inheritance of Chinese civilization, the major divergence of Chinese and Western history, the Kondratiev long wave theory issue, the socialist system and its future prospects, the issue of China's modernization path, and the "Belt and Road" initiative. The author examines these Chinese issues in the context of the progress of human civilization and changes in the world order, systematically presenting explanations one by one, thus offering a redefinition of global Sinology.
