Return Policy

RETURN POLICY

For Individual Customers:

Individuals may return books for credit if they are undamaged and in saleable condition.

All return and/or exchange claim must be made within 14 days of receipt. Return credits can be used against future purchases only, and credits will expire two years from the date of each credit memo. Notice of shortages, missed shipments, or non-receipts must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. We do not issue return labels and/or refund return shipping cost.

For Retailers:

We do require permission to return books. Retailers in good credit standing may return books if they are in saleable condition. Returned items that arrive damaged will not be credited. Returns with copies of invoices enclosed are eligible for full credit. Returns without copies of invoices and/or invoice numbers are at China Books’ discretion.

Trade book orders may be returned no sooner than 6 months and no later than one year from the invoice date. If books are returned prior to the 6 months policy, we will hold out on issuing the proper credit until 6 months from the invoice date. Textbook orders may be returned at any time while the publication is still in print. Return credits can be used against future purchases only, and credits will expire two years from the date of each credit memo. Please note that bookstore stickers are not allowed on returns. Overstock returns and/or returns greater than half of the purchase are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
